Broiled Plank Salmon
Grilling salmon on a cedar plank adds a smokey flavour to to your meat, keeps it moist and keeps it from falling apart. And it looks really fancy when you serve it!

Ingredients

2 salmon fillets or steaks

1/2 teaspoon olive oil

salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 teaspoon cumin, to taste

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, to taste

cayanne pepper, to taste

1/2 teaspoon honey

2 cedar grilling planks
Directions

Soak your planks in water for 1 hour to prevent them from burning. Preheat your oven to broil.
2. Place salmon on the planks then drizzle over the olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle on the cumin, garlic powder and cayanne pepper, then drizzle with honey.
3. Pop it in the oven and broil for 10 minutes, or until light pink throughout.
HINT: Want to save time? Ditch the blank and cook this right on a cookie sheet. Total time: 12 minutes.
