Chipotle Hummus

Delicious homemade hummus with canned chickpeas and chipotle chilies in adobo sauce.  It's great for dipping pita slices and fresh veggies.

 

​Serves : 6  Prep Time: 15min   

 

 

 Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, juice reserved

  • 3 tablespoons tahini

  • 6 minced cloves garlic

  • juice of 1 lime

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1 teasoon diced chipotle chilie in adobo sauce

 

  Directions

  1. Combine chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lime juice, cumin and half the chili in your blender.  Add a small ammount of the reserved chickpea juice, then blend. Add just enough juice as needed to blend well.  Add remaining chili to taste. Refrigerate before serving.
